Marysol Velazquez, Legal Assistant

As a legal assistant at Kahriman Law Firm Marysol conducts client intakes, prepares clients and their files for court hearings, drafts documents, and occasionally prepares online filings of cases.

Marysol was born and raised in Southern California, the child of Mexican immigrants in a community filled with a wide array of cultures and lived experiences. She attended undergrad in Central California, between Sacramento and Napa Valley, where her work with uninsured and undocumented people at a health clinic inspired her to pursue law.

Marysol has always been drawn to policy, enjoyed her time living near a state capital, and was drawn to experience life outside of California, bringing her to Boston for law school. She is hoping to work in immigration law after law school.
